I actually think that 10 USD / mo is very reasonable for what you get, however, you are still very restricted at that level.

Try inlets - it's an open-source alternative, that can be used natively with Docker, VMs, Kubernetes, or just on your PC as a binary. You'll also like the price.

The inletsctl tool can provision hosts automatically, and you also get to have HTTPS 🔐
